Overview

The Rainforest Trail is named after its surroundings. There are many gris palms on this trail which is a known habitat for parrots (the St.Lucia National Bird). Lookout for the several species of birds on the estate and on this trail, where majority can be seen and heard. There are three bridges on this trail named after deceased members of the owners’ family all built with wood from   fallen trees on the estate. Explore the giant stone, where carib drawings can be seen scratched into the surface. The trail end in a vegetable patch and a demo anthurium plot.

What to expect

• The pick-up vehicle will have a cooler with water.
• The driver will be highlighting key areas of interest e.g The Market, The Cathedral, Derek Walcott Square, The Central Library, Roseau, Anse La Raye, and Canaries.
• On the return trip the group will travel to Soufriere via The Sulphur Springs for photo ops. There will also be a photo stop at The Piton Management Area (World Heritage Site), Soufriere Viewpoint, and Soufriere Town
