The Carib Trail is for hiking mostly but also has a dry stone wall left behind by the former slave residents, along with a tobacco house from when the estate produced tobacco. On this trail you will find our apiary. At different seasons visitors can get the opportunity to witness and/or participate in the making of cocoa sticks, harvesting of fruits and cocoa, planting of herbs and flowers, weaving of straw baskets and mats, preparation of local dishes such as farine and avocado, accras and other local activities.
What to expect
- The pick-up vehicle will have a cooler with water.
- The driver will be highlighting key areas of interest e.g The Market, The Cathedral, Derek Walcott Square, The Central Library, Roseau, Anse La Raye, and Canaries.
- On the return trip the group will travel to Soufriere via The Sulphur Springs for photo ops. There will also be a photo stop at The Piton Management Area (World Heritage Site), Soufriere Viewpoint, and Soufriere Town
